Seraphim

In a world often fixated on the pain experienced by Black womxn, my debut poetry collection, Seraphim offers a refreshing perspective; delving into the radiant, vibrant, and exuberant spirit that defines Black womxn--showcasing that Black womxn don’t just endure but thrive, as an act of legacy, communal resistance, and celebration. 

Often labeled as “loud” Black womxn, just like the seraphim--celestial beings known for their illuminating presence and vocality, are fervent, passionate, and radiant, lighting up the world by their very existence. Seraphim is a testament that Black womxn are celebrations unto themselves, created for exultation while also celebrating themselves with joy that is incandescent, undeniable, and immensely influential.
